Kitchen experiments

This week we had fun with a few "kitchen" experiments.


We grated a red cabbage and mixed its bright purple juice with vinegar, baking powder, lemon juice, etc to observe colour changes (acids vs bases).


We separated pepper and salt using static electricity.


We watched raisins go up and down in glasses of fizzy water.


And we made some clay with corn flour and pva glue.
