You may be considering educating your child(ren) at home as one option now or in the future, or you may be a seasoned home educator who is looking to connect with others in the area. This group aims to offer social activities and friendships for both children and their parents, to enable us all to support one another in this challenging, yet rewarding, future.
During the warmer months we meet outdoors in park settings, wildlife reserves, National Trust (or similar) venues or woodlands. From September until the beginning of the summer, we meet up in a village hall near Taunton, where there are also outdoor opportunities if the weather permits.
The age range of the children in our group is currently between baby and 8 years old, though we are growing all the time so do not be put off by this if your child is older.
We understand each family and each child is different and, as such, you will want to see if this group is for you. Please do feel free to come along and meet with us - you may wish to visit with us several times to get a truer flavour of the group before deciding on the future. We would love to meet you and yours... so do pop in if you can.
