This week we had a go at wet felting, making beautiful pictures out of wool.

Planting seeds

This week, as it was supposed to be the beginning of spring, we planted some seeds in recycled yogurt pots.

World Book Day

For World Book Day, we brought some of our favourite stories to read together, and sat outside in the sunshine.

Australia Day

This week we celebrated Australia Day, as a way to learn about some of our friends' heritage.
First we made some sun visors before looking at a big globe to see where Australia is.

We made some damper bread.

Then we had a go at aboriginal dot painting with the rubber ends of pencils.

We played games while our bread was baking in the oven.

And finally got to eat it with golden syrup!
